What health information do you want to share with the rest of the school and why?
I want to share this information with the school because some people may eat a lot but they don’t have enough vitamins and things like that. They need to eat healthier, more fruits and vegetable, and less cookies, cupcakes, and sodas.
My favorite animal is a puppy because they are so cute. You can play with them all day and you can train them to do tricks.

What made you want to become as Aptos TEACHer?
I wanted to become a Aptos TEACHer because I wanted my voice to be heard.
My favorite color is red because it looks good on me and it’s one of the colors in the Mexican flag!

I want o share a lot of information but drugs and alcohol is on the top of my list because at this age a lot of teens are turning to drugs.
My favorite song is “Life Ain’t Easy” by A.R. I like it because the song has many good points.

I’m most excited to face my fear of talking in front of people.

What are you most excited to do this year as a health educator?
I am excited about working with new people and going to classes to talk about the conflict in the school.
My favorite season is summer, because I love getting lots of ice cream and just hanging out.

I want to share about bullying because it has to stop. The teasing, fighting, and envy is not cool.

I excited to meet new people and facilitate workshops.

I wanted to try it out- to try something new.
My favorite animals are wild cats and monkeys because there are many things to know about them.

What health information would you like to share with the rest of the school and why?
I would like to share about bullying because I think that it is a serious topic and that many people are affected by it in some way. I would also like to share information about drugs and alcohol because it’s not a healthy life choice and everyday people die from it.
My favorite colors are royal blue and aqua/ turquoise (I like bright colors) because it reminds me of waterfalls and the water in a tropical reef. It’s bright, but it’s also soothing and calming to me.

What made you want to become an Aptos TEACHer?
I wanted to get involve in extra curricular activities at Aptos. HIFY seemed like a great opportunity for me. I t seemed like a very proactive program that would teach me a lot and also help me share what I learned with other youth. I’m so glad to a part of this program. It was everything I hoped for and more. I wish everyone could have an opportunity to join!
My favorite animal is a piranha because that’s what represents me. I love their big teeth and how vicious they are. They have a lot of guts!

I wanted to become a TEACHer because I wanted to learn about health issues and also make youth aware of them.
